Privacy Policy

Overview
Nexus Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates The Odyssey Coach across odysseycoach.ai and app.odysseycoach.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have when you use the live paid product.
The Odyssey Coach is a coaching product built around live voice sessions. Your coach can also message you between sessions in the app. Running that product requires account data, billing data, session data, and the technical logs needed to keep the service reliable and safe.
Privacy matters here because people use this product to practice things that feel personal. We do not sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
Account and profile information: This includes things like your email address, authentication details, name, onboarding responses, account preferences, and any information you provide when you contact us.
Billing and access information: We use Stripe for website subscriptions and Apple for subscriptions purchased in the iOS app. We store billing status, customer, subscription, and transaction references, access-grant data, and related timestamps needed to determine whether your account has active access. Payment card details are handled by Stripe or Apple, not stored directly in our app database.
Session, message, and feedback information: We process live voice audio to run coaching sessions. Our retained product records are transcript-first and may include session transcripts, messages between you and your coach in the app, session metadata, generated notes and insights, and feedback submissions.
Technical and usage information: We collect device, browser, log, and usage information needed to authenticate users, secure the service, debug issues, and understand how the website and app are being used and to improve the service. We use product analytics tools for that purpose.
Product analytics and session replay: We use analytics providers, including PostHog, to understand how people use and improve the service. In the iOS app, this may include recordings of screens, interactions, and content visible on screen, including coaching and account content. We use this information for analytics, troubleshooting, and product improvement.
X advertising measurement: On advertising journeys from X, we use the X website tag to measure visits, checkout starts, and completed purchases, optimize our advertising, and understand which campaign and creative produced the activity. X receives browser and device information and an opaque transaction reference used to prevent duplicate conversion counts; if you arrived through an X ad, X may also recognize its own click information. X may use this activity for interest-based advertising under its terms. We configure the tag not to send the page location, and we do not send X your coaching conversations, transcripts, messages, challenges, or session content. We separately remember which landing-page version you entered so signup and offer remain consistent and we can evaluate the funnel.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
Create and manage your account
Authenticate access and enforce billing or access-grant status
Run live coaching sessions and related product features
Provide support, handle refund requests, and respond to questions
Secure, maintain, debug, and improve the service
Understand how people navigate and use the service
Meet legal, accounting, and operational obligations
How Voice Sessions Work
Live sessions are voice conversations. Live audio is processed through the providers we use to power the session experience, including transcription and model response generation. The normal records we retain to operate the product are transcript-first records and related session artifacts, not a user-facing library of audio recordings.
Records From Retired Features
The product previously offered optional coach text messaging and phone-call sessions. Those features have been discontinued and we no longer send or receive coaching text messages or calls. If you used them, we retain your past messages as part of your conversation history, and we retain your phone number and the record of your texting opt-in and opt-out choices as legal records. That mobile information and consent data was never, and will never be, shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
When We Share Information
We share information only when needed to run the service, comply with the law, or protect the product and its users.
Service providers: including providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, payments, and AI infrastructure such as Google Cloud, Firebase, PostHog, OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Stripe, and advertising platforms such as X.
Legal or safety reasons: when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, or security.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your Choices and Rights
You can request access to, export of, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. You can delete your account from Settings in the app. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails.
Website subscriptions can be managed through the Stripe billing portal linked from Account; iOS subscriptions are managed through Apple. To ask us to opt your account out of usage analytics or for any other data request, email support@odysseycoach.ai
Retention and Security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the product, support your account, meet accounting and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. This includes records created by features that have since been retired.
We keep analytics records, including PostHog session replays, for as long as reasonably needed for product analysis, troubleshooting, security, and legal or operational purposes. Deleting your Odyssey account does not automatically delete historical analytics records; you may contact us about a separate personal-data request.
We use standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can promise perfect security, but we work to protect the data we hold.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date on this page and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
